Hello my name is Dwi Suparta,
I have been part of The Laguna Bali family for over than 15 years and I am a proud Luxury Collection Concierge. Being a native Balinese, my passion is to show each and every guest the island's hidden treasures that not many people might know.
Bali is not just about the pristine beaches and its great landscapes. The rich culture and tradition here will captivate every global explorer. There are plenty of vibrant Balinese ceremonies to attend and admire. Each month, we also celebrate the full moon ceremony in the resort with the Balinese Blessing Ceremony & Dinner.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife my two daughters exploring the island. We love to cycle in Ubud, overlooking the famous Tegalalang rice field terrace, and watch the rice farmers doing their daily rituals.

From the moment of booking to the airport dropoff, The Laguna was an excellent experience. Working with the concierge to coordinate airport pickup was easy and they clearly defined where pickup would be located and how much it would cost as this is not included in the hotel package. Upon check-in I requested a room upgrade using my Starpoints and this was very quickly taken care of with little to no interruption and was shown my room within 10 minutes of the request. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully laid out around the main pool area. Our room had a balcony facing away from the main pool area but this did not detract at all from the experience as the grounds of the entire property are immaculately maintained. The pool areas are very clean with lawn chairs spread out evenly around the area so that there is no feeling of being overcrowded. What I liked most about my experience at the hotel was the feeling of privacy that existed throughout even in the public areas of the property like the beach and restaurants. Our room, a studio, was spacious and very well maintained. The only negative I have to say is that the windows and doors were not very well sealed and so air was able to seep into the room from outside. Although this did not affect the temperature of the room significantly, the room did take on a humid quality to the point where the blankets and cushions felt very slightly damp. I still slept fine. Each time I spoke with a member of the concierge or over the telephone I was greeted by name and by the end of my stay a large number of the staff were able to match my name with my face as well. The level of service at this hotel is top notch and well deserving of the luxury brand status.
